Aspen HYSYS Upstream Option provides industry standard methods and techniques for handling petroleum fluids and brings together the disciplines of petroleum and process engineering. Aspen HYSYS Petroleum Refining layers powerful new features onto the Aspen HYSYS® process simulator to simplify and improve petroleum refining simulations. Based on the well-accepted Aspen HYSYS interface, Aspen HYSYS Petroleum Refining streams are driven with crude assays that support an extensive set of stream petroleum properties. Complex, multi-unit simulations can be quickly configured incorporating key units like the naphtha reformer or FCC and associated fractionation.
Aspen HYSYS Crude enables the simulation of crude oil assays and crude columns. It characterizes the hydrocarbon fluid by determining the hypothetical components that make up the oil and predicts their thermo-physical and transport properties.
Aspen Flare System Analyzer enables engineers to perform steady-state design, rating, or debottlenecking of single or multiple flare and vent systems. The program can calculate minimum sizes for new flare systems or evaluate alternatives to remove bottlenecks in existing relief networks. Aspen Flare System Analyzer can also be used to identify potentially dangerous relief scenarios during design phase or current operational scenarios. With rich calculation, analysis and visualization tools and an object-oriented real-time application development environment, it delivers a flexible and effective performance management and analysis solution.
Aspen Model Runner™ 
Aspen Operator Training Simulator (OTS) offers a single integrated platform for process training and operator training simulators. It is a technology used by a network for building and deploying process training and OTS applications.
Aspen Online Deployment™ 
Aspen Model Runner enables model authoring engineers to deploy their models to a wider range of users at reduced costs while simultaneously protecting intellectual property contained within the model.
Aspen OTS Framework 
Aspen Online Deployment enables the use of models in plant operations for a wide range of real-time process monitoring, soft sensor, and operator advisory applications. Models are executed on a periodic schedule using conditioned on-line plant measurements. Model predictions are published to the historian to populate operator displays, or tracked for trend analysis.
Aspen Simulation Workbook™

Economic Evaluation (ASPEN ICARUS)
This is an economic evaluation tool. It contains a wide array of mathematical models used to design
and evaluate project components (equipments, foundations, structures, piping, electrical,
instrumentation etc) for the engineering, procurement and construction of process facility.

Equipment Modelling

Aspen Shell & Tube Exchanger is meant for the design, checking, and simulation of shell and tube, double pipe, or multi-tube hairpin exchangers. It performs the design for all major industrial shell and tube exchanger equipment types and applications, including single phase, condensation, and evaporation.
Aspen Shell & Tube Mechanical
Aspen Shell & Tube Mechanical is used for complete mechanical design or rating of shell & tube heat exchangers and basic pressure vessels. It used for optimizing  thicknesses of the majority of exchanger components, including flanges, tubesheets, expansion joints, supports, cylinder thicknesses, and nozzle reinforcement. In rating mode, it determines if the component thickness for an existing exchanger are adequate for a given set of design temperatures and pressures
Aspen Air Cooled Exchanger is provided for the design, checking, and simulation of air-cooled or other cross flow heat exchangers. It performs the calculations for all common process applications, including single phase, condensation, and evaporation
It is a simulation program for the fire box and the convection sections of fired process heaters. It can be used to troubleshoot operational problems by identifying tube burnout or to identify best operating conditions given changes in feedstock or product specifications.
Aspen Plate Exchanger
Aspen Plate Exchanger is a single solution for the design, checking, and performance simulation of plate heat exchangers. This includes either gasketed plate & frame, welded, or brazed plate of the type used for general heating and cooling duties, including vaporization and condensation.
Aspen FRAN™
Aspen FRAN™ is used to simulate the performance of shell & tube feedwater heaters where boiler feed is heated by steam or condensate for power applications.
Aspen HTFS Research Network™
